Our Story
After successfully pursuing careers in finance, the founding members involved in MFI had one common experience: fellow students asking for a place to turn to kickstart their own careers.
We often found ourselves filtering through a litany of resources to recommend, facing constraints from pay-walls, and answering questions about breaking into workshop programs at a given school.
One primary driver fuels this cycle: higher education recognizes the need for specialized knowledge, but often restricts it heavily in order to market their programs. We stopped to ask why free knowledge couldn’t be aggregated to replicate this education — this is where MFI was born.
Today, our organization is scaling into something beyond one field; now a place for students to give back, and centralize the resources for all.
